The past couple of days I have been trying to setup an online store and its been driving me nuts. I haven’t found any good solutions for word press. I bought the Market Theme for Wordpress and so far its very irritating. Im going to try the ones installed on my hosting’s Fantastico Zen Cart, OS Commerce, and Cubecart.

The post is called ” A Stupidly Simple Cash Cow”. What it basically says is that you locate small businesses with a website that don’t have an opt in newsletter. Mail them a letter telling them how you can double there business by giving their customers incentives to sign up for their newsletter and every time they have a sale send out a newsletter informing their customers of the sale. I remember 4 years ago I bought an ebook on how to make money online buy taking surveys. The ebook was literally just a list of links of survey websites. I used the links and after hours of filling out surveys I made just 5 dollars. I haven’t bought another ebook until now. I checked out The Rich Jerk’s website and saw the ebook for 10 bucks I figured that wasn’t to much to lose if the ebook the was crap. I am pleasantly surprised with the value of the ebook it is pretty much the basics of Internet marketing. If you are new to internet marketing it is a must read and if you are more experienced and already know the basics of Internet marketing the real value is in the forum. The forum has over 50,000 members that are willing to actually spend money. This would be great for a web designer because their are a ton of members who need web design work, but be careful you can get banned for spamming. One thing I will gripe about is how crappy the forum looks. I know The Rich Jerk has enough money to a least buy some vbulletin software.

Whats are the best WordPress plugins? I currently have Askimet, All in one SEO pack, Google XML sitemaps, Hello Dolly, and Sociable. The All in one SEO pack doesn’t seem to be working. I don’t know if the newest version of WordPress 2.7 supports this plugin tho.

I’m currently hosting my sites www.onlinearcade.ws and www.losersdream.com at Host Gator. I orginally had OnlineArcade.ws hosted at a cheap provider and they went out of business losing all my files. When I restarted my site I decided to use Host Gator because they are an established hosting provider, so far they have been very reliable and they have an easy to use admin panel. I just upgraded from  Hatchling to the Baby hosting plan because it allows addon domains.
